Nollywood actress Omoni Oboli has taken to social media to share adorable photos of herself as she celebrates her birthday.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, the actress gushed over her beauty as she expressed appreciation to God for keeping her alive to see a new age.

She also reiterated her love for her family and fans while expressing appreciation to them for their support.

Simi snubs Nigeria as she names another West African country, ‘giant of africa’

    Popular Nigerian music star Simi has snubbed Nigeria for Ghana for the tag, ‘Giant Of Africa,’ in a recent post on her Instagram story. The mother of one said this in reaction to Germany choosing Ghana over Nigeria as the West African centre for Global Health. Simi took to her Instagram story to write the caption; “Lol this is the second country I’m seeing doing this. ‘GIANT OF AFRICA..’ ” See her post screenshot below:   This is happening after American microblogging and social networking service, Twitter opened their African head quarters in Ghana. That move caused uproar on Twitter NG as they feel Twitter were meant to have their headquarters in the country considering the fact that Nigerians are one of, if not the highest users in Africa. In reaction to this, Nigeria’s minister of information Lai Mohammed condemned, saying Twitter’s move wasn’t a commercial one. He also said Nigerians caused it as they always paint Nigeria bad.  

Governor Ortom suspends traditional chief, youth groups over gruesome murder of widow

  Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has ordered the suspension of a traditional chief, Ortar Agwa Mnyange Kwahar in Buruku Local Government Area of the state, all youth groups and their activities, over the gruesome murder of a widow.   LIB  reported that Mrs Becky Shaade Aondozungwe Nyihemba, was burnt alive in her home by suspected thugs in Mbagen community, Buruku Local Govt Area on March 5, 2021.   The widow, a nurse by profession, had a week earlier raised the alarm about threat to her life by unknown persons for reasons she did not mention. The State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Mrs Ngunan Adingi, who disclosed this in a statement issued on Saturday, March 27, said that the suspension of the chief followed the crisis in Mbatyough Council Ward, Mbagen in the council area which led to the death of the widow.     The statement read,   "As a result of the recent crisis in Mbatyough C...
